Message	don't know what happened right there! But i was only going to add that regulators don't not have any moving parts in them so that wasn't the sound you heard. But the fact that the noise is there may mean that the regulator is going bad and making the pump react in a irregular fashion. The pump in the tank is prolly making the noise. I'd give it another day or so and go in.
